The scoring started in the 20th minute when B. Potter delivered a pinpoint cross, met by A. Abboud, who volleyed home. Just four minutes later, Potter provided another assist, this time from a corner, with Abboud powering a header into the net.

In the 41st minute, R. Green’s driving run ended with a left-footed shot that the keeper spilled, allowing J. Howie to react quickest and volley home. Early in the second half, J. Jardine played the ball across the goal, where A. Abboud cleverly stepped over it, leaving B. Calderwood to smash it into the net. A minute later, Jardine produced a Pirlo-esque pass to Abboud, who breezed past the keeper and slotted home his third of the match.

Abboud completed his fourth in the 51st minute, rising highest to meet L. Bloomer’s corner and head the ball into the net. The Swifts continued their dominance as B. Potter whipped in another cross in the 57th minute, with J. Howie meeting it at the back post for a well-taken header.

In the 70th minute, K. Brown controlled a pass from R. Green and delivered a perfect cross for A. Ali, who calmly finished to add another to the tally. Balmoral pulled one back in the 86th minute when a long ball clearance rebounded off an attacker, putting him through on goal to beat the keeper. However, the Swifts responded quickly, as R. Green’s shot in the 88th minute found J. Howie, who smashed home to complete his hat-trick.
